IEFA Traveling Professional Development: The Rocky Boy Indian Reservation-I designed the training and attended. I worked with tribal elders and tribal members to create a place-based training. The training created a working relationship between teachers and Rocky Boy Reservation.

IEFA Traveling Professional Development: The Crow Reservation- I designed the training and attended. I worked with tribal elders and tribal members to create a place-based training. The training created a working relationship between teachers and the Crow.

Book Club: IEFA Sports theme- I developed and participated in this book club. The focus was critical literacy with a focus on native verses non-native perspective when writing about Native Americans. Teachers were asked to look at how different the writing style was and how natives a depicted. The books read were Full-Court Quest: The Girls from Fort Shaw Indian School by Linda Peavy and Ursula Smith and Counting Coup: A True Story of Basketball and Honor on the Little Big Horn by Larry Colten. Our meetings about the book were held through a blog.

IEFA Traveling Workshop- Exploring the Bitterroot/ Salmon- Place-based training. I co-designed and attended this training. I developed the Salmon portion of the trip. I worked with a direct descendent of Sacajawea. Important places in the Bitterroot and Salmon.

IEFA: Essential Understandings Regarding MT Indians- trainer Dottie Susag. This class helped me develop a working relationship with Mrs. Susag. I have brought her into my school every year.
