My name is Kimberly King.  I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho.  I moved to Montana fifteen years ago when I joined a Forest Service Fire Crew in the Bitterroot Valley.  I enrolled at the University of Montana soon after.

I worked my summers as a Wildland Firefighter/ EMT-B until 2006.  In 2006 I spent half of a summer working as a lookout for the Bitterroot National Forest. I then went on to work for the Forest Service in a new capacity in Recreation as a Rec-Tech.   I student-taught here at Victor School in the Fall of 2004.  I then continued to do volunteer work here at the school.  I started my first year teaching in September of 2005 at Victor School.

I currently teach for the Bozeman School District.  I am currently a 3rd grade teacher at Meadowlark Elementary.   I have taught 3rd grade for three years.  I was a 5th grade, 6th grade teacher and Native American Education Coordinator for Victor School.  I look forward to creating a cooperative, positive working environment for my students!

I have a loving husband of six years. We met on a fire some fifteen years ago.  We were friends for five years, before dating.  We now have a family that consists of a little girl who is eight and two wonderful dogs (a Saint Bernard and a Golden Retriever).

My family and I are very active, out going people.  We enjoy most outdoor activities. I really enjoy hiking.  I like to spend my winters on the ski hill. I snowboarded for 10 yrs and switched to skiing eight years ago, what a wonderful sport! I am a canner and berry picker too. I also love traveling.  I have visited Costa Rica, Italy, and Thailand.
